Ancient Ruins (Ancient Dreams Book 1) Read Ï 102 Ghold and source of hope all at once And perhaps just perhaps she could finally find love in her new lifeThis is a dark fantasy lesbian romance with a focus on the dark fanta. I really liked the way Benjamin Medrano made the characters so lifelike and understandable that I had an immediate connection with Sistina and cried because of what happened to her I was also affected emotionally by other scenes in the book I also really liked the world building along with way scene settings were described and were easy to imagine and for the most part sounded really beautiful Overall I like this Benjamin Medrano s work and recommend reading the whole series and their other works

Ancient Ruins (Ancient Dreams Book 1) Read Ï 102 En nations and the slaver kingdom of Kelvanis when she rescues a princess from slavery With her domain containing hints of forgotten knowledge Sistina becomes a dungeon stron. Not a great book in the same way that a big mac and fries isn t a great meal but satisfying and probably very bad for me Don t expect great literature but hits some nice notes The only problem I have with this series is the lack of focus on what I call the core dynamic IE lesbian romance and dungeon core The author keeps getting ambitious until theirs barely any lesbians or dungeons left and it turns into fantasy war chronical with gods and magic and damnit where s the sexy gone
